Ozone Air Purifier Ionic Air Cleaner

Need Squeaky-Clean Air? Try An Ionic Air Purifier

An ionic air purifier uses a nifty method for ridding your home's air of pollutants: it gives them a positive ionic charge, and then traps them, usually on metal plates. In a sense, these purifiers filter the air without using filters. They're hardly your father's old-fashioned air purifiers! Some ionic air cleaners even emit negative ions in order to keep dust and particulate matter where it belongs -- on the floor, where you can vacuum it up. To top it off, many ionic purifiers also have built-in charcoal filters and ozone air purifiers that use ozone, a.k.a. activated oxygen, to help destroy pollutants and filter out smells.

Sitting filter-free

With the exception of activated carbon filters used to control odors, most ionic purifiers simply don't use filters. Although they can be pricey (a price tag of $375 isn't unusual for these purifiers), you save money in the long run, since you cut down on filter purchases. These ion purifiers are no slouches, either. They typically have decade-plus guarantees, and can easily remove smoke, odors, pollen, dust, viruses, and bacteria from the air. They're not just good for keeping the air sweet; they can help keep you healthy.

Ion-clean in no time

Ionic purifiers aren't just for asthmatics or the old: they're great for anyone. And they're easy to use, too. With ionic purifiers, you just plug 'em in and forget them; they sit quietly to one side, taking in the bad air and putting out the good. They work so well, in fact, that you might get a little spoiled whenever you have to leave your sweet-smelling, squeaky-clean haven!
